Children’s Center of Austin and Dance Discovery instructors CAN NOT accept payment or registration forms.

Tuition
Tuition for the 12 month session is $704 for 44, one hour a week classes, $1257 for two one hour a week classes. Tuition can either be paid in full or in monthly installments.

Monthly Payment Method
Dance Discovery has a paperless all electronic payment system requiring either a credit card or checking account to set up your account. Installment payments require a $35 registration fee per family and a down payment of $32 plus 12 months of $56 payments for one class or a  $35 registration fee per family and a down payment of $57 plus 12 months of $100 payments for two classes per week charged on the first of every month through August 2010. Declined, unfunded, or rejected payments may be charged a $15 fee.

Withdrawal/ Satisfaction Guarantee
If for any reason you are not satisfied or your child stops attending Children’s Center you may contact our Central office at 419-7611 and request your child be withdrawn from class. You will only be responsible for payment 7 days after the date of notification.  If you have already paid tuition for that month you will be refunded for classes not attended as of 7 days after the date of notification. Refunds may take 30 days.

Spring Recital and Fees

Dance is a performing art and the recital is an important culmination to the curriculum; developmentally building confidence through an exciting cooperative effort. Preschool level classes perform at the theater and toddler classes perform in their classroom.  All students are required to purchase a costume and preschool dancers are charged a Performance Fee.  The Toddler costume is $38 and the Preschool costume fee is $55 per class. These charges will be billed to your account on October 1. The Performance Fee is a community fee divided among all students ages 3 and up and is used to secure the performance venue.  This allows you to bring as many guests as you choose to the show; no tickets are necessary.  The $60 fee is automatically charged on March 1, 2010. Both the costume fees and the performance fee are non-refundable.

Spring Recital will be held May 22 - 23, 2010 at the Scottish Rite Theatre

Required Dress for Class 

DANCE Girls: leotards and socks, any color. Boys: solid color unitard or solid color muscle shirt and shorts and socks. Toddlers need leather ballet shoes, pink for girls and black for boys. Preschool dancers need the same leather ballet shoes and black patent tap shoes. Please mark shoes with child’s name. GYMNASTICS Any colored leotard or unitard. No socks or shoes.

Students should arrive to school on class days in their dance/gymnastic attire with dance shoes in marked bag.
