Classes begin September 3 and meet year round. See calendar for end dates according to class day. All classes have 48 meetings.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO HOLD A SPACE?
Tuition is based on a 12-month session rate of $720 for one hour a week (48 classes @ $15). You may pay this amount in full upfront if you wish. Tuition may also be divided into 1 downpayment ($48) plus 12 monthly payments ($56/month) in which case a $35 registration fee will be required upfront. This rate is discounted from our public rate to account for three missed classes over the course of the year for illness or vacation. Please include the down payment tuition to hold a space in the classes you choose. This initial payment is a non-refundable deposit. After the initial payment, monthly tuition (Sept.–Aug.) is put in place using an easy, automatic system from the checking account or credit card you set up with our offices. Dance Discovery is paperless. No more writing checks or licking envelopes! This easy payment program is safe and secure and offers consumer protection. Automatic payments may be stopped at any time by speaking with the studio director at 419-7611. You will only be responsible for payment for seven days after the date of drop notification. The seven-day period gives us time to notify our waiting list of an upcoming class opening. If you have already paid tuition for that month you will be refunded as of seven days after the date of notification.
SPRING PERFORMANCE
The spring performance fee is $60, due March 10, 2009. This covers our cost for renting the facility and allows you to bring as many guests as you choose to the show. No tickets are necessary. We usually perform at the Scottish Rite Children’s Theatre downtown. The costume which you will keep after the show is $55 for each class. Toddlers purchase costumes only (no performance fee) because their performance is at the studio. Toddler costumes are $50. Preschool through teen classes perform at the theater. Costume fees are non-refundable and are charged on October 15, 2008.
MONTHLY TUITION PER STUDENT
Sibling discount: No registration fee for the second or third child.
Registration fee: $35 (waived if tuition is paid in full)
